I used to think the world was there for me
    With all it's fantasies
A young girl living in a world of dreams
    With dolls upon my knees.
But now some years have passed my way
    Was it all a dream?

Was ever there a day when everything went right?
    Didn't I have bad dreams and call out at night?
If I skinned my knee & saw the blood appear -
    Didn't I go running home to shed a tear?

The challenges I've seen these past few years,

       Just like "Childhood Days"
