My Angel

An Angel came to see me
I knew her name quite well
She took my hand to guide me home
There's no much I have to tell her.

She knew how much I missed her
My heart did break in two
And even though our children cared
It was time to say adieu.

And now you'll have your memories
Of the things we used to do
The many happy times we shared
  With friends and family too.

The golf, the garden and the birds
  The cabin at the Lake,
The trips to foreign places
  And vacations we would take.

Just know I always loved you
The words were hard to say
I felt those deepest feelings
And those feelings will always stay.
